What is trauma?
Trauma is a wound caused by distressing experiences such as divorce, abuse, war, accidents, armed robberies, threats of suicide, or the death of a loved one, to mention a few.

What can trauma counselling do for you?
- Remove the emotion created by disturbing memories or images which often come to mind.
- Address frightening dreams or nightmares related to a traumatic event.
- Work through events that you act out or experience as if it is still happening now.
- Releases emotional discomfort due to high stress levels.

When should I start with trauma counselling?
The sooner the better. Even within 72 hours after the incident occurred can make a huge difference in your treatment and healing.
